    wtb Microsoft Excel lol

So I've been using OpenOffice for a while now, and really like it.

However there is a spreadsheet that I want that has a lot of functions and macros that will not work in OpenOffice, apparently it only works in MS Excel.

I tried torrenting one, however it had a virus. Anyone know of where I can get just Excel? Like a real one that does everything excel does? I guess it would require the entire MS Office package which is fine... but where do I get this without buying it? A few torrents so far have been unreliable and I don't want to go through another virus.

You can check pirate bay, but don't search for excel, search for MS office instead, then when you install it should let you choose which programs you want. At least that's what I would do.

MS has Office 2010 Beta available for free now as well, the only catch being the Beta part!

recommending the 2010 free beta too. i first installed it at work on a test machine to test in our live environment, but it actually works that good that i replaced 2007 on my own machine with it :3. there are a few flaws and option i'd wish for the final release. like beeing able to exclude certain mails from a conversation in outlook, as it groups them too a little bit too good for my taste. like i receive a mail withouth subject and it puts it into a conversation with all mails without a subject. had to disable that feature. also some are reporting that mails vanish when you activate/disable the conversation feature but i couldn't reproduce that behavior.

The spreadsheet I needed required 2007, so I couldn't go with the beta, I should have clarified.

The torrent stewie posted worked out well, thanks again.

Office 2010 should work with your 2007 file. At least, I haven't had any problems with compatibility yet.

Just download the shit from Microsoft's site. They offer it for a 25-run trial, then you can use a keygen to unlock it.

YOU DON'T NEED TO TORRENT THE FILEZ YO.
