Friend of mine is currently in the market for a laptop.
He is primarily going to be using it for the following:
Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Flash CS3. Possibly
Dreamweaver as well. His only requirements are
nothing bigger than 15.6 inches (would prefer 14 if possible)
and doesn't want to spend more than $800. Was curious
what type of deals you BG'ers could find.

With $800, any decent core2duo laptop should fix those requirements easy, don't really need any special deals. I normally look around www.bensbargains.net for deals, but atm, it seems like they only have deals for laptops in the $5-600 range. I'd just go to the Dell site and configure something nice. There is a 20% off coupon on select Dell laptops, like the Inspiron 15 bringing the base model - price down to $662. Coupon expires on the 11th.
