Let's see if I can find the Texas snow thread from last year. At what point does this stop becoming news? First time in 100 years I can understand, but once a year is hardly a rare occurrence.

Oh I realize that, just pointing out we have days just as bad, our average is not that far off.
Personally I prefer them to the days where you need to cover like every inch of your skin if you're going to be outside more than a few minutes.
Even in Tampa the worst days were the ones where it was super still and the air got dry and the sun just beat you up.
I think the best part about this is that Toronto hasn't seen any snow yet. They had a snow-less November for the first time since the mid-1930's.
Guys its air in Pittsburgh right now... I don't know what to do...
I didn't even realize it.
I heard it was going to snow this Friday and I was like "Lol yeah right, this is Houston bitches."
I just looked outside and almost pissed myself.
Funny thing is, "global warming" isn't all "warming". It's a general fuck-all of the current weather patterns as more energy gets poured into the system and stays there.
So yeah, snow again? Hmmmm...
Edit: And we're due our first snow of the season tonight/tomorrow, 1-4 inches. Yay VA winter!
LMAO... City of Houston shutdown today at 1pm. Bill White said fuck this shit. Don't blame him. If Bill gets to close down the city, i'm certainly closing up shop before this shit freezes and all of Houston loses it's damn mind....
1" of snow? Shut. Down. Everything.
CRISIS CORE MODE!
It is even funnier when you see this sort of mass hysteria reaction in a town where it snows every year! It never fails the first big snow storm of the year in Reno everyone panics and everything is shut and there are car crashes everywhere.
How do you not know how to drive in the snow when you live in a city that gets snow every year.
Fun times.
Pssh, we can get 8" in Madison and still keep school open.
Oh, and to whoever said "It never snows in SoCal" - there's snow in LA county every year. There's places where you can simultaneously see snow, and downtown Los Angeles. Surf in the morning, ski in the afternoon in the same county.
Shit's weird.
I hate all of you SoCal/Texas people with your good freakin climates. I wish snow was rare here. If you have 70+ or 80+ degree days in december, you have no right to ever complain about anything in life, ever. Screw you and your beautiful winter days at the beach relaxing in the warm sun. I hope the entire south freezes over so you'll know how I feel for 4 months straight every freakin year.

It's supposedly going to snow here later on tonight, which, yes, is a big deal to people that have seen it snow in their hometown once in the last 20 years.
I grew up in the Snow Belt of N.Michigan. I remember going to school when we were getting over an inch per hour. I'm not worried about driving in it, i'm worried about the crazy ass people who can't drive in it. The most troubling part though is the rain/snow mix, and then the temp is going to drop below freezing around 3-4pm. Yea, fun times driving on ice![]()
The forecast high for next Wed at my house is 28F and the low is 8F in reality it will probably be even colder.
