Lol, I'm born and raised in New York and I was fine, until I got let out from work. When you're tired you can't really handle the cold no matter what you're used to.

I never realized how many human beings lacked common sense until I started driving.

Worst part is, everyone in Katy, TX still drives like a half-wit fucking moron in the snow. Tailgating, changing lanes rapidly without signals, speeding, cutting you off when they KNOW you can't stop short. Assholes...

Anyways I just got home from work, and it's fucking freezing outside (literally) it's 28 degrees Fahrenheit.

I just moved from Minneapolis to Dallas last week... it's hilarious to see people talk about the snow and how cold it is here when I actually consider this to be NICE weather for December.

As someone who spent 25 years of his life in MN, I can honestly say fuck the snow and fuck cold weather. That shit is straight up disabling and makes me just want to curl up in a ball and die. I'm talking anything in the 20s or colder, which is several months of the year in MN, not to mention the windchill. I have no idea how I honestly tolerated it for so long.

I lived In Central Alaska for almost 4 years. It was fucking cold at -50 but people would walk around in shorts at around 10 degrees. This is my second winter back in texas and I can tell you when I went outside at 6 am this morning and its 22 degrees...It was god damn cold. You don't feel it till you have lived in a area that is a dry cold then come down from there and live in 100+ degree summers then a sudden drop from 70 to the 20s is brutal. There is absolutly no time to adjust. In Alaska it chills down slowly so by the time the October snows hit you are already used to it.

Heat has never been an issue, it gets retardedly hot and humid in the summer in MN as well most summers. It's more the combo of cold+snow and trying to function in a daily basis in this environment which did me in.
