yeah because there's no way that could have changed, ever. it was completely set it stone; nobody has ever changed their mind! so it totally makes sense to go ahead and not only burn the bridge, but contact the dude's family and let them know their son has been acting weird on the internet for the last however long. good thing you stopped to consider how that might affect the life of your bosom buddy, who you really really don't care is actually a man. really, in what way does that make sense? in what universe is that not the action of someone who's pissed about what went down? inc post about not wanting/needing to explain yourself or vague references to personality traits and interactions between you and kiara that i guess i'm supposed to magically infer.

To be fair, ivve is right in so far that it was a mistake even though Char did not know it was his family, and ivve is also right in so far as char did not do this primarily to let someone know their info was stolen, rather he did it because he wanted to get in contact with kiarax, of course, char admitted as much to this.

But him bringing up the excuse of letting someone know their info was stolen rings hollow.

To expand on this point:

His family would have never found out about this if he didn't lie to me. (not that this thread was created in anger due to him lying or anything but being that he said he was 'leaving' and was already gone before this thread was made obviously he was not going to come back and say what the deal was so I decided to put it out there so there was no 'wondering' where he went.) I'm really just not a private person.
Almost directly before what you see in the second post in this thread was me asking him (with a picture of him and his sister together) if the boy in the picture was him.
I had a good feeling that he was the brother even before I came anywhere near confirming it.

As you can see by what I posted, he completely denied being the brother.

Had he told the truth there absolutely none of this would have happened.
This thread would not exist and his family would not know.

As for the other conversation, not many if anyone seemed particularly mad. Domon's actions can at the most be seen as motivated by some sort of being put off that he was hoodwinked but that's kind of understandable and even so that's not even close to the majority of the people posting in this thread.

I mean I talked to D a lot about this too, and I know he wasn't out for like revenge or anything, he just seemed to really want to know how the whole thing fitted together, because it seemed really coincidental that there was a chick who basically seemed to be in a similar situation to Kiarax, and lies are always more effective if they're mostly truth! So yeah, I think it was more an interest thing than a revenge thing for sure. They'd already fallen out a couple of weeks back anyway because he'd started acting really strangely (which now all makes sense).

Simple fact is, if I were to trust what he said to me... that he wasn't the brother, I'd think that the girl would want to know what was up.

I figured that there was at least a chance that what he said was true (the part about not being the brother) so I definitely wanted to contact the family and let them know someone was out there doing this shit. Also, on the other hand I figured that contacting them could also put me in touch with Kiarax once again if he were the brother as I figured he was.
Two birds, one stone.

Honestly, I could not see any better course of action.
