About 3 years ago, SMN was my job of the month.
Only got it to level 30, but during that time I spammed the shit out of Royal Jelly to get a Himmel Stock, which at the time cost 40-50k (a fortune to someone who's highest job was RDM50-odd).

That fucker has been sat in my Mog House ever since, waiting for me to take up SMN again. I've tossed out pieces of AF, excess food and meds, festival items etc due to lack of storage, but I still kept that damn staff.

I did something similar with Fay Staff on SCH, I got FC+1 Enhancing Skill+3 and was like ehh that's decent, will try for something better.

2nd round I got FC+3 Skill+4 and was like FUCK YEAH, keeping that!
