How was white knight chronicles and how long was it?

I'll just quote myself from the White Knight thread,

Visually, this game is beautiful. Towns are huge, and the areas in general. Nice sense of exploration. Combat system is similar to FFXII, without the gambits. There's a circle onscreen that fills up, once it's full you can execute whatever you wanted prior to its filling. (You can set shortcuts, too)

Read some guy rushed through the game within 30hours or so, which I don't think is terrible considering it was a speedrun, and I can safely say you can speed through alot of RPGS, Ps2 ones alike for less. Overall I'm enjoying it.

It isn't very long, definitely not what they were boasting about. 30-40 hours should be pretty standard. The storyline is fairly straight forward and more on the lighthearted side. I remember some of the Japanese reviews docked the game for not having voice chat during online play and that won't be an issue for the NA release. I didn't play online personally so I can't give an insight to it. Didn't want to deal with a bunch of wwwwwwww's. All in all it's a quality product, and that's to be expected from Level 5.

As far as Divinity II, the game's been leaked for awhile, in english. I'm not very impressed with it thus far but I haven't played much of it.

Thanks for the explanation, I really hated 12's battle system so I may wait a while on this one them, I was torn between that and getting lost planet 2, I may just go with lost planet 2 then.

The battle system in action, nothing very awe inducing. It isn't that much like FFXII (Which I loved) but it was the closest thing I could describe to at the time of release. The battles when controlling the actual knights are more fun.

Divinity II looked interesting but I have a sneaking suspicion it'll be terrible. I also hold out hope that Two Worlds II fixes like... all the problems of the first game, and that Risen (also supposedly due for 360 in Q1 2010) fixes all the shit that kept me from playing Gothic 3, but we'll see. Elder Scrolls V needs to come out soon

FFXIII is the only one mentioned that I was planning on getting but I love threads like this because they bring games to my attention. Went and watched an interview for Darksiders and that seems like something I'd like to at least try out.

I wasn't even aware of a new DW o.o I've played pretty much all the others, too. I'll also be picking this up the day it releases.
