What are you buying for Christmas?

Mom- not sure yet. I think I am going to get her a couple of good books so she can read something other than shit and Oprah suggestions. Other ideas include The Office dvds or maybe a new blanket.

Dad- don't wanna get him shit and don't care, probably gonna break down feel bad for him and get him a neck pillow to use when he has to sit up with his newborn all night.

Sister- I have no fuckin idea really, maybe fill up a flash drive with music.

gf- X the band t shirt, Wallace and Gromit dvd's, add ons for Sims 3 i got her back in august.

So far, I've only figured out one thing I'm going to get. Got my Brother's GF a Invader Zim slippers because I have no idea what you're supposed to do in that situation. As for friends, I'll probably just end up with a T-shirt of some sort. My mom's gift usually turns up on December 23/24 when my brother and I go to Border's and find something.

Dad I'm not positive yet-- he read "The Gunslinger" and "The Drawing of the Three" and didn't really like them, but expressed some interest recently when I was reading em again. Might get him Wastelands and W&G. Only thing is he can just borrow one of my copies lol.

Here's another vote for getting him to read Wizard and Glass. It's an awesome, awesome book, by far the best in the series. I'm sure you know that, but the series doesn't really get rolling until the third book.

If Snuggies and the Obama Chia Pet weren't so expensive I'd get those for friends and random other family. Since they're too expensive, those people get nothing.

I never, ever do any Christmas shopping before December 24 (aside from what I got my father that took 3 months to get).

Dad - 1,000 rounds of ammo. No, we're not rednecks, it's been wicked hard to get ammo the last ~1 year.
Mom - No clue, probably some gift cards to Wegmans since she loves that market.
Sister - Nothing, we don't see the point in exchanging gifts when we could just go spend the $X on ourselves without having to mail something.
Girlfriend - Nothing. We both hate Christmas.

Parents, I dunno, I keep bugging 'em. Possibly may chip in with my brothers to get an HDTV to wall mount in the living room. One of the few rooms they don't already have a TV in...it's all they've mentioned :/

My parents and brother are getting a fully paid vacation with me to Australia in Feb, so I didn't buy them a Christmas present
