That OCZ 1.9V ram is no good, want ram of 1.65/1.6 or less with i5/i7's
It's worth checking if it's close enough to drive http://www.microcenter.com/at_the_stores/index.html you'll save $50! (minus gas/time) The closest one to me is about 40 mins away, and I'd definitely make the trip.
Boston is the closest, and that's about a 2-2:30 drive. I also drive a V8 Mustang, so that's probably a full tank of gas lol.
Wow there's a Microcenter in Boston? Road trip time!

I'd suggest going with a PSU that is not made by OCZ. Lower end OCZ PSUs are generally of mediocre quality. I know some of their higher end models are pretty decent, but I'm pretty sure that isn't one of them and given their track record, I wouldn't trust it. You really don't want to skimp out on the PSU, since it's one of the components that is capable of killing the entire system when it fails.
I'd suggest going with an Antec (Earthwatts or Truepower new series) or any of Corsair's offerings. I know Enermax makes great units as well, but I'm not too familiar with their lineup.
Just bumping this. My final build( See first post), all I am waiting on is seeing if I can get W7 on a disc if you have been reading Gaming PC thread. I am very confident with this build, for the price couldn't be happier. I am willing to go to around 1100. I just don't see any viable options that would be worth it, seeing how I don;t do VERY heavy gaming.
P.S I already have a PSU, which is why it is not up there.
correct me if im wrong, but i don't think the CPU and motherboard will go together since they arnt the same socket type.
but once again correct me if im wrong, im no expert.
My bad, I had my old Mobo in there. Try again
