BG College Football Bowl Pick Em (and Bowl Discussion Thread)

Confidence is where you rank the games based on which ones you feel most confident on. When you were picking, you had the ability to drag the different slots around based on those numbers. Whichever team was in your 34 spot, if they won, would give you 34 points, while the team in your 1 spot only gives 1 point.

So if you're 100% sure that TCU is going to beat Boise, you'd rank that higher than say the NC game if you weren't so sure on that one. Basically it adds another element where you're not just picking winners, but also how strongly do you feel about it. The fact that so many people felt sure that Fresno would beat Wyoming of course cost a ton of points...

I've learned to live with it from Lou Holtz. Mark May did it a couple of times, though, which surprised me. And they both went back and forth all night between proper and improper pronounications, which means someone is coaching them to say it right, they just can't get it.

That was a team that clearly did not want to be there. Riley's managed to avoid the let downs before (this was the third of the last four years they felt that should be in a better bowl), but clearly not this year. The wind didn't help, but everything that could go wrong, did.

I'm 1-5 with my top 2 confidence picks missed. I'm guessing I'm a lot better in the regular season because it usually only has mostly top-25 games instead of these mid-majors that I have never seen a game of all year.

Yeah, my 29- and 30-pointers are toast. Fresno was one thing, double overtime and all, but Nevada getting destroyed came out of nowhere. Note to self for next year: rank the teams you know the best at the top, no matter how evenly matched their bowl games are.
