I dunno how to feel about this. The whole 'everyone is picking Bama, so I'll go Texas' thing doesn't seem to work here because Alabama's heard some negativity too and I trust Saban to keep his troops from falling for that trap. That's the logic in me thinking.

My heart says "Fuck Alabama and all it's worth" as I'm an Auburn fan. I think it's shit that Auburn got shutout of the title game in 04-05 so Big Flop Bob can get pulverized by USC, so fuck Bama.

I'm loving it, I think regardless of who wins, as long as Texas doesn't just come out like shit and get dominated, this can easily be a game on par with the VY game, in terms of overall "holy-shit-ness."

Agreed. I don't want a blowout. I don't even want a 7-10 point win. I want a 26-23.. 24-21 sort of epic FG win at the end, or a late drive by one of the teams to win the game. I don't want one team to dominate the other. This game sets up for Alabama to do everything opposite of how they've done things; penalties, turnovers, etc.

Either way, I love the name-only matchup of Texas/Alabama. It's setting up for epic. Would be hilarious to see Colt McCoy copy VY in an epic game at the Rose Bowl for Texas against the #1 team.'
