Inexperienced rookie QB didn't control the offense well til the 2nd half. 1st half most of his plays didn't get over a yard. Mccoy was the heart of this football team imo and with him going down so fast it killed the offense. Mccoy and Shipley were an amazing combo. Alabama is a good team, just sucks to lose when you are not at your best.

It may not have been pretty, but bottom line, they beat 5 ranked teams during the regular season, swept through the SEC including away games at Auburn and Mississippi State (in addition to the ranked SEC teams), and won their bowl game. The arguments about the injury are pretty much made null and void since Texas benefited so much from injury throughout the year. SEC now 6/6 in BCS championship games?
