Well, this is bummer news for UGA. Good news for Alabama it seems.

What seemed like a done deal last night, apparently isnt. David Hale's blog, who is someone that is 99% reliable says smart is staying at Alabama and the decision was made JUST before the McClain press conference. Makes me wonder what Alabama and/or Saban offered Smart last second to get him to stay.

It was most definitely an expected decision and the best decision for him in his career. However, it sucks for the team!

This. Cody was in Kiper's top 20 last year until he said he was coming back, now he'll probably be a second rounder. Get paid when you can, son. Linebacker is pretty deep though, we'll miss him for sure as a leader, but Hightower, Johnson and Patrick can fill the void.

The only thing I see happening from this is that we pick up a NFL coach or a top college coach that is left out there to salvage our recruits or we have a fucking train wreck season for the next 3-4 years.
