UT Football Recruits are like a dead zebra in the Africa
Apparently Orgeron has been texting the early enrollers telling them they're welcome at USC.
Secondary violations before they're even at USC. Stay classy, Kiffin.
2 weeks before signing day might prevent some from changing their minds but I see a few of the top tiers going else where. I'd be amazed if UT has an official HC in place by signing day.
Are you fucking dense? Let's count em up...
1. Competitive SEC vs a Pac-10 that can dominated much easier
2. Compete for southern recruits against 5 other schools or own recruiting west of the rockies?
3. Have THE football team of Los Angelas with a stadium downtown, or be in the middle of fucking nowhere.
4. 70 degrees in December or the Smokey Mountains...
Yeah, I couldn't stamp my name on that contract fast enough.
Also, I bet Tubberville is facepalming right now. Is the ink on the TT contract even dry?
Tubs is better off at TT. If he went to Tennessee, the fans he left behind (or was forced to leave behind) in Auburn would ream him and the SEC would probably find a way to rape him. He's better off at TT. He's used to working with the step-brother of the state, or the cousin (as in Alabama:Auburn, Texas:Texas Tech, etc)
So you don't like a challenge
I would take a head coaching job any day in the SEC over some job in another conference, hands down.
Btw Number 3 and Number 4 are a fucking joke, both can be solved by an airplane. Wait we don't have them hur in TN
If anything, it shows the true character of Kiffin. If that is his dream job good for him, but don't expect Knoxville to greet him with open arms in 2013 if he is still even the coach there.
Nope, im not fucking dense. But I guess im just weird:
1. Much rather go 7-5, 8-4, 9-3 in the SEC than 10-2/11-1 in the Pac 10. Because I would know my 7-5 SEC team can beat the 10-2 Pac 10 team.
2. Yeah, gonna be awesome recruiting for my tenure at USC when were limited to 5 scholarships when the NCAA is done with us.
3. Might be the only place where you actually have me imho. But, that might even be a non issue with Washington, Stanford, Oregon, and Oregon State going nowhere but up. Great, were THE 6-6 team in LA. Awesome. See #1.
4. Fuck that. I make 3 million + a year. Ill buy a house in Southern Cal and "vacation" there in December.
1. Competitive AFC vs. a SEC West that can be dominated much easier.
2. Compete for UFAs and draftees against 31 other teams or own recruiting south of the Mason-Dixon line?
3. Have THE football team of Alabama, or be in fucking Miami.
4. ...fuck it you make 3 million a year, you can spend January wherever the hell you want.

This was posted by one of the Bama pages on Facebook. A slightly different angle.

is this even a good hire for USC? I mean this guy didn't exactly blow things up even as a coach in the pro's nor did he do awesome at tennesse. His pop's knows how to build a quality defense but honestly is this even a good hire?

Been laughing my ass of listening to the radio about Kiffin. They said he's borrowing Al Davis' projector screen for a press conference, signing OJ Simpson as a RB coach so his players can make better "cuts," and hired Jeffery Dahmer as his Nutrition Specialist.
No.
