So finally today a friend of mine made me this. 1st on Cerberus I think. We would´ve added a 3rd and possible 4th slot on it but he´s only Synergy22 and was solo operating it. Going to add more tomorrow.
Now pray for TP Bonus+100% and Gkt Wpskl Att+30 evolith.

Those god damn filled triangles mean "Vs. Family" evoliths. To be specific, it looks like "Vs. Family" Ranged attack/attack (fire) and Magic Evasion (dark).
Are you saying it was possible to add more slots than 2?
Also, can you do some testing to see how much critical hit damage + is?

Yeah... those be some shitty slots from the looks of the available matching evolith in existance. Not to mention the fire slot (attack!) being only a 2...

So to people slotting gear, can you redo it to change the numerical values?

For instance, the above only has a 2 fire slot, could that be redone for a chance of a greater capacity slot?

Yeah, need higher skill to get the HQ. You can remove them all with the eraser thing, and try over and over till you get it. If he HQ he should have 8 on that first slot. 2nd slot has max of 8 too, but I can only get 4 atm solo. Need to team up to do it likely.

Can easily solo craft the bodies at lvl 45 skill though.

Does removing the etches also remove the augment mark? (IE: If i traded in an engetsuto to etch along with mordant 75, then used the uh....acid? whatever its called, would the engetsuto return back to a non R/EX version of itself?

SE stated that you could remove etchings to be able to put the piece back up for auction in the update notes. Once something is etched and attached with evolith, you can either remove the evolith to put a new one in, or remove the etching(s) entirely, returning the gear to its original condition, ready to sell. (if it was sellable in the first place). Both actions result in losing the evolith that was attached.

I will add more slots tomorrow. I know for a fact can add a 3rd because we tried but my friend failed because he was solo doing it. Going to get 2 more people with synergy skill to try again for more slots. After that I will completely remove the slots and turn it back into base Ebon Harness. Then re-do the whole process to see what kind of different Triangles I can get.
Going to post findings tomorrow.
Edit: 3rd possible slot would have been an empty triangle tip pointing to the top.

Huh... dunno why I thought he asked that. Maybe I was thinking about that when I read his post. So, can you pick and choose which slots/evoliths to remove? Or do you have to remove all or none?

I was mostly wondering if the Synergy Augments were anything at all like regular Augments where your equipment becomes totally unsellable once you augment it.

This is good news, time to work on synergy then!

I don't know for sure, but from the sounds of it, you probably erase all slots if you erase any at all... Anyone attempt this on a 2+ slotted item?

Attachment 9247 The first etch you can pick between the elements listed initially. The second etch you can pick between the elements opposite the first 4. The third etch back to the first set. Looks like the first two shapes are solid triangle, then the third is empty. Difficulty increases greatly, the first slot was 40 of w/e element picked; second slot was 40 of that ele as well as 40 of the new element. Third is what's shown here. It looks like it will take multiple higher lvl synergists to etch the last slot. Also, if you remove one, it removes them all so if you get a crappy third or fourth etch, you gotta start over by the looks of it.

Hopefully I put these pics up wrong so you guys have someone to make fun of~

also one lvl 50 can etch the slots, but you will want multiple people to try to hq them for more power in the slots.

So Shikkoku Togi has:

1) Vs Family
2) Vs Family
3) Magic Skill

I see these sets being great if someone finds some really awesome Evoliths. If I were to sub /NIN with that body piece, I'd pick Water for that 3rd evolith slot to support Ninjitsu Magic which is a water aligned evolith. I am hoping that by some luck someone finds a Wind Based Ninjitsu: Recast delay -X% which would shorten the recast timer on Utsusemi.

You guys putting sockets in these super expensive body pieces might wanna stop accepting the ▲ slots if you've got a choice. Those are slots for the "Vs. [mob family]" evoliths... which are very situational.

There is no choice, and you can erase them anyways so it's just experimenting to see what the deal is.
