Or... you could take the system that synergy was built for, Evoliths, and compare it to the system that seems to be the most comparable to it, which would be FoV, and realize that FoV started small in level increments and people bitched about it... right up until INT+6 Weskits and MAB on Aquilo's Staffs started coming out after they updated the system.

Not to mention, the currently highest attainable skill in Synergy is only lv50, which they made a big point to mention in the update notes. No, the system is not yet complete, and yes Pchan, you are fucking retarded.

Hey guys, I tried searching several times (but I suck @ it) and couldn't find anything in regards to Ebon Celata. I'm assuming armet + aptant: ishis? Something like that. Will i need high level smither or something to work the synergy thing with me and will I need to level synergy skill? This new stuff is kinda confusing to me haha. Thanks in advance for the help!

When did we stop bitching about this random-as-fuck and utterly worthless system of augmentation? Most players have a better chance of landing a Defending Ring or finding a purpose for Doll Gizmo than getting a worthwhile augment.

But let's look at this another way, for all you people who are so far up SE's collective rectum that you don't mind the smell anymore: it's pretty much a given that the synergy system as it stands is underwhelming. It's also almost certainly incomplete by virtue of the 50 cap on skill. If we all just settle back and accept truly amazing Evoliths like "vs. Elementals: Accuracy +5," SE will assume they've done something right. The bitching and (wholly justified and completely correct) complaints that this is yet another wasted system are generally what Square-Enix needs to see in order to fix things. It's hardly a guarantee, but odds are more in our favor of them actually getting the message than simply saying, "Wait and see, maybe they'll learn on their own for once." Corporations do not learn without substantial negative feedback.

SE always releases things in phases and obviously this system isn't finished yet.

I love how some people walk into a patch expecting them to completely mow down kings and then complain when it doesn't live up to the expectation unreal as that is.

By some of the posters here, everything outside world spawns/salvage are a "waste of time and pointless". Is there any event in XI where most of the stuff isn't "mediocre" with a few good things here and there sprinkled in? That's what this system is looking like.... everything else.

I did it ^^ Got 3 Smooth synthesis in a row ^^ so my body has 8 - 6 - 5 now but it took me a few tries
It's the last HQ in a row thats a pain, it's pretty easy to get 2 HQs in a row but the 3rd and final is hard especially solo.

Do you notice any patterns to getting HQ though? I assume you etched solo. I just tried to not let it explode at all by keeping the impurity down, but like I posted before, even with high %, and 40/40 on first etch it NQ'd on me with the lowest possible outcome of a 1 size before.

Last time i checked Goblin/Bugbear/Moblin Cest and those two Fishing Rings weren't in MMM from the beginning.

Also the like 50+ Maze Runes and like 5-6 different Tabulae they added in updates after the initial launch of MMM

Salvage was very slightly tweaked, but besides that it's been almost the exact same since it came out.

A chest containing cells at the start of the zone was added, LBC got nerfed, permit cost was lowered to 1500, Mad Bomber always pops now, SSR drop rates were increased, alexandrites & purses were added, and obtaining cells was made easier.

I think it's a pretty substantial change, not nyzul- or einherjar level but still.
