Just throwing this out there, that about the \"Enhances Fast Cast\" effects, Ebon Tam is 2% and Ebon Talar is 5%. A link to the testing was posted in the New NM thread.

Any idea of the Snapshot on the RNG/COR body?

I'm thinking that might actually be a pretty good body.. I just got the aptant last night accidentally, I'm wondering..

Question: Could new body (Ebon Jerkin) replace KO (though not ACP)? If so it would currently be cheaper, and no doubt more trendy.

Also guys, I don't know if we're blind or if I'm just missing something but, there are some endgame pieces that can be etched right now,

I assume also Kaiser. Someone here posted about this earlier but there was no real followup. I'm not a Pld but I still see a lot of Pld's roll around with this, and consider it a pretty decent shield.

Ok, coming from my perspective, big whoop. But for the many thieves that don't yet have blau/sirocco or Azoth, it's been thought to be Behemoth+1 vs Misericorde+1 for a long time. I know plenty of thieves without blau/sirocco, so maybe this would be good for them?

My opinion is that it's shit, but I see a lot of thieves roll around with it still. Normally ones that can't afford Ziska's or Leo+1 (or now, have not obtained the new "Octant" r/ex bow). Aside from those x'bow's, it's decent.

Dk what the max is on this yet but hmm. Yeah, I don't own an e-bow for my rng. Partly cuz of price, partly cuz I like bullets, and mostly because I (had) 8 marksmenship merits (for thf). But I think hellfire+1 is acknowledged by the rng community to have it's uses regardless? (I'm not sure)

Unfortunately not a good day for me... does anyone have any solid info on crafting Ebon Harness? On my server, not a soul has all subs to 60. Found out that bonecraft was definitely a sub, as some said. But it seems I have more money than sense--I've broken this synth twice, losing over 3m. Last bonecrafter had 100leather, 60smithing, 60bone, 48GS, and used crafting equip including ring. Previous crafter, about the same. I figured I've never seen 4 craft requirements on an item, and this item, having Molybdenum sheet and Platinum sheet.. I figured that since I knew it was leather and bone, the third should be smithing. Well, either I'm just unlucky or the third sub is actually GS, or this is the only synth that has 4 craft requirements in it. godkajfklajfklamfnljgkljgmnit.

It's Leather 100 with Smithing and Bonecraft as the subs. It was confirmed I think back on page 12 or 13 of this thread. Someone was trying without Bonecraft and using Goldsmithing and it wouldn't synth. I think it was just an unlucky break from the crafter. The Synergy Synth for the Ebon Jerkin:

Synergy: Novice (31-40)
Leathercraft: Journeyman (51-60)
Smithing: Novice (31-40)
Bonecraft: Initiate (21-30)

Seems to indicate that the Synergy Synth is roughly half the skills of the Ebon Harness itself.

Does leveling any of the training give more skillups? This is while spamming just the element.

Training only affects certain processes during synergy. For instance, leveling Feed will reduce the pressure that builds up when you feed fewell. It doesn't tie into skillups, but it does help you to control your furnace.

I tried to etch one of the items crafted from the drop of one of the recently added NMs the Ranging Knife. Unfortunately, it looks like it can't be etched either so the new crafted items weren't added just for the sake of evolith.

Just made Ebon Visor. Tried to etch the first slot, and it's filled up triangle with four elemental options... and lightning isn't one of the options. So much for tossing my Vs.Bird: R.acc+4 in that slot.

If it follows the same way that the bodies have, your second etching will be the same filled up triangle, but with the reverse elements from the first as your choices.

[1] ▲ with Ice, Water, Earth, and Dark as your choices
[2] ▲ with Fire, Lightning, Wind, and Light as your choices

This means that you can't have both melee/ranged accuracy and attack on the same piece.

In what way? The Ebon set seems to give you one slot for magic based evoliths and one slot for melee based evoliths for ▲. Would Furia give you the option for double Melee choices (Fire, Wind, Lightning, Light) and Ebur double Magic based (Ice, Earth, Water, Dark)?

I've yet to see anyone post any ebur/furia stuff. That's what i'm curious about too though. Are the evolith slots going to be completely different to offer more uses? Or is it really just to have different colors...which would be stupid.

I decided that I'm too lazy to track down some pigment NMs, so I'll settle with this for now:

As you can see, the 3rd slot would have been an empty triangle. It gave me the option for magic elements on it.
