Anyone made the mog house kitchen yet? :D

I've been camping Qiqirn Sandbags on AH for the Firebrick synergy, but they don't show up that often. I know another crafter who has some made, but isn't selling unfortunately. As for the actual synthesis itself... it's going to take a lot of good coordination between skilled Synergizers to pull off. I haven't seen that many people with special synergy cuffs yet either, probably due to the cost -- explosions are going to be a problem.

A Thunder element Kitchen furnishing is kind of odd. There's almost no Thunder-based cooking synthesis, aside from a very few exceptions like Maple Sugar.

Stealing Qiqirn Sandbags has a very high Success rate, do it near the Zone to Einherjar place, those are at best DC, and really easy.

Your system's speed and lag also seems to affect it. On my laptop, I can only get in three full thwacks, spamming at maximum speed with confirmations off. It's an old model that has discrete graphics, but it's rather outdated and it only runs FFXI well with weather off and resolution turned down. Official SE windowed mode only, as Windower causes too much slowdown.

I have similar problems with the Steel Resolve Campaign ops, there's a bit of a delay in opening each menu and accepting my input, that limits the speed at which I can respond. Unfortunately, there's not much that can be done, except switch to a better-equipped desktop PC when available.

Question for clarification sake. Say I have Synergy level'd. A friend wants something synergized. He can put in the mats, i work the furnace. He gets the gear out. Correct? They dont need Synergy too... right?

This is concerning of Furnace Skill Levels. Has anyone figured out the following things about the skills?

1) Would a capped LV.5 Operate Safety Lever (The impurity ratio will decrease more when this action is selected.) increase the chances of HQ?

2) Is LV.5 Operate Safety Lever the same level as Cooking: Heating Smarts (Consume 10 LightLight fewell to gradually purge the furnace of impurities.) or do they operate entirely different? I know they're worded differently, but this is the localization team's recuring problem of not using consistent game terms. EX: +3 Haste vs. +3% Haste.

3) Assuming they are two different things, would it be wise to bother capping Operate Safety Lever if you already have a Culinarian's Smock? Like in theory, it might sound good to go all out, but that's assuming if impurities affect the HQ rates.

Heating Smarts is definitely a different mechanism. While I can't say which version is more fewell-efficient, the Cooking version operates a little like a DoT or Regen effect, in that it operates over a stretch of time, with a message at the end when it finally wears off. It seems to be good for solo synergizing, as the gradual effect saves me a bit of jumping around in the operations menu.

Halfway to being high enough to make a decent attempt at that kitchen. I'll prolly go grab a friend or two and farm the sandbags myself, can't be THAT hard to get them.

I think my biggest issue with this synergy wont even be the difficulty or the mats. Trying to find a lv 40+ synergy master chef and 40+ synergy master smithy is gonna b the real headache. There's like no high level synergists on my server from what I've seen.

Luckily as a woodworker Ive taken out one of the big 3 synths myself. I might just find 2 other decent synergists to spam purify while I and maybe 1 other pump in the fewell, then I just need a lv 90+ chef and smith to just kinda stand to the side so I can get the skill to attempt it.

Is the kitchen R/E or sellable? If so we'd prolly farm the mats and pump out 6 of em in a row so we all get one.

Problem on Lakshmi atm is FKN being beastmen for weeks on end meaning the gobbie npc never pops to sell karugo clay....

Anyone got a rough idea what the minimum skills required to create Ebon Coat are? I know Clothcraft 100 is good, but what about Goldsmithing and Synergy levels?

Wiki says Ebon Coat requires a Cloth Journeyman, Leather Novice and Goldsmithing Recruit.

I've been skilling up with behe dagger and mordant 75 but the skill ups have pretty much stopped altogether at 35. Is there another etching recipe that's good to get me to 40-45?

just do mythril nugget to 50 if you got the gil to spend

Skilling up on mythril atm as well, and honestly it wasn't that expensive. Cost about 20K for the mats. Thats not much different from 1-2 batches of fewell.
