I have 0 cooking and I was in a party with people with cooking skill and I was skill able to initiate apple/melon/orange juices. If i left the party, it said my skill was took low

So basically this system just lets us leech our friends and neighbors crafting skill to make our own (slightly) better gear?

There better be some kick ass evoliths out there or this will be epic fail sigh...

What we know of evoliths from dat mining already suggests this is going to fall on its face. The list of items that can be etched (which seems to be exclusively crafted garbage) is a further nail in its coffin.

all i got from trading the Chipped Scimitar to the Synergy npc was some bland text.

A friend of mine traded a Chipped Scimitar, Wolfram Steel Ingot x2, and Cobalt Ore x2 to the Synergy Furnace and got a recipe to show. Seems like you need a Smith and Gold Smith to do the synergy.

So, your "friend" is the only person who contests the screenshots of all the dull/chipped/etc weapons not being able to be fitted with evolith?

Or is the weapon itself an ingredient? Thus, what would the final item be called?

because everyone tried those exact extra items in the less than a day this has been implimented right? DURKA DUR. those items are new, not out of the realm of possibility at this point.

Has anyone gotten any skill ups after level 1 off Orange juice? I've made at least 10 of them after I leveled and haven't got a .1 =( I've tried zoning as well, and still nothing. Going to give Pineapple juices a shot.

Should be a post on here somewhere with a person getting 5+ offa them. Personally I've gotten to lvl 2 on them, with another .1 recently.

I got to level 4 with Orange Juice. Still skilling up.

How many stacks of oranges have you traded for your 1 level of skill? I traded like 5 stacks and only gotten .2 and i am level 0.2. Am i doing something wrong or is it just my luck? lol

I used up about 4 stacks of oranges. Cool, thanks for the info guys.

*Also, what I've noticed is that the NPC stopped giving me the option to make OJ after spamming for recipes for half an hour >_>.

And what level are you?

You can just trade the oranges to the furnace. Did you feed it with other element fewells to get skill up or you just hit the objective of 30 water element and end synergy (OJ)? Cause i gotten some skill up by lowering the internal pressure of the furnace.

I kept messing with every function, having no idea what I did. But just feeding it water until I reached the quota:
