This is what I too am curious about. We need someone to trade those pieces to see what apertures can be held on those body pieces. I think the slot will remain the same, and will have a max elemental power of 8, however, your synergy skill or your success at creating a nice balance of elements during synergy will determine whether or not you hit that max number or not.

Chain Hose worked. Also Koenig/Kaiser Shield worked.

Just so people know the Keonig shield accepts size 3 Earth / Dark of the beast affinty types, and the Kaiser accepts size 4 of the same types. Thus HQ item = HQ slots.

It wouldn't surprise me if that is the case since armor can only contain so many lines of text. And from the looks of it, you can only put "Vs Family" evoliths on there. Did you have a choice of elements? I would've gone with fire since that would allow Vs Birds: Attack +6 if you were targeting birds specifically.

A guy in earlier pages said he traded an augmented koenig shield and got message it could be etched but not at this time, so we're gonna assume thats a no.

mage's ballad 1/2 are light aligned of note. that's actually not bad potentially.

well, you could put it on another item that's etchable and doesn't contribute to singing casting time like an earring, a nerid ring, maybe a neck piece if one can be etched that brd can wear, or tack it on a shield to mate with the fay dagger when not /nin.

Wow why am I not surprised. I bet the other TP bonus Diamond evoliths come from the NM's that drop the Lyft Weapons. That NM gives H2H Evolith and drops a H2H Lyft weapon.

Been looking at the HR : evolith drop list.. looking for discernable patterns and stuff..
not sure if anyone pointed it out yet (tho it is kinda obvious).. but all Vs Bird evoliths drop from Amorph NMs, (since amorph > bird).. and I haven't really looked at all the other NMs/evoliths yet, but its true for a bunch of other mob families. I've noticed beastmen drop different things.. lotsa random stuff actually.

anyway.. if anyone is looking towards making augments VS Bird for meriting..
like say Vs Bird: Atk, which should be out there somewhere.. before others get to it..
i recommend looking for the remaining amorph NMs..
(if im not wrong, these are the only ones left without known Evolith results)

edit: is anyone else surprised that Bloodlapper, Kinepikwa and Volsdfjasdf (the gnole) is on the list (according to otherwiki)? because those are popped NMs and yet elusiveness 9 lol... and they actually require more scylds too.
