edit: is anyone else surprised that Bloodlapper, Kinepikwa and Volsdfjasdf (the gnole) is on the list (according to otherwiki)? because those are popped NMs and yet elusiveness 9 lol... and they actually require more scylds too.

The required pellets to pop them have Elusiveness: 9001.

It's the 2nd Diamond Slotted found.
The other one came from a Gnole that drops a Lyft weapon, so it is indeed looking to be that the NM's that drop Lyft weapons are the ones that give Diamond Sloted Evoliths. The fact that Skillchain Damage +X% is on there means that it is indeed pulling other augments off the same .DAT list and there could be a greater unseen potential for these evoliths.

not borked.. its narrowing the list..

Amorph NMs are likely the only ones to drop Vs Bird stuff, but they can also drop other stuff.

theres still at least 5 other amorph NMs out there with unreported evoliths (last i checked). Only 1 of them will be vs birds:attack.. and the rest probably Vs Bird: (useless) stats.

also for Flammeri.. looking at it now. it looks like NMs that drop Lyft weapons (like flammeri) drop weapon's WS related evoliths..
edit++: so if we're to extrapolate from this trend, Grand'Goule's evolith will be GKT WS: *effect*. don't think this one has been reported yet

The theory that is borked is that Lyft NMs all drop ◆ Evoliths as the poster above states that Flammeri dropped a ▼ instead. If we can get Balragga to double check just to make absolutely sure? (though, judging by the augment to the Weaponskill, it seems to be off the same list as the the other ▼ Evoliths, so I doubt there was any mistake)

It might simply be that some weapons like Katana's can't be etched with a diamond based evolith slot and only accept ▼. Can anyone check by trading a synthed Katana to the Synergy Engineer?

Someone had said in the Synergy discussion that when you HQ the synth on the Ebon etching, the slot takes up the max elemental strength that the piece of gear will accept. NQ synths will create elemental strength lower than the max.
