all 3 etchings were inverted triangles? I doubt that >.>

Pretty sure it was both inverted triangles, lightning, 8 for the first 2. The guy was trying to put polearm ws: acc into both of them and it wouldn't work. The second was open triangle. Gonna have to go back and have another look, but I think that was how it went.

Edit: Nevermind, the second one is a diamond~ That's pretty cool then, that polearm can get ws acc and crit boost both.

Does anyone want to break this down for me and tell me what (If anything) is worth getting for DRG, BLU, and SCH? If you don't want to, that's no problem, but if you do, post or PM please. From what I've seen, it looks like the polearm is the only thing that's good, but it requires a HNMLS (I think?) to get.

scimitar can be decent for blus. Depends how good blu magic: physcal acc+2 compared to like a purdu hangar.

So far it doesn't seem like there isn't much worth getting that is better then what we have now.

Hopefully in a future update the evoliths aren't so mediocre.

Blue Magic: Physical Attack + is a good evolith, but very low in possible numbers I think. The most I've seen posted is +2 and it could be nice to place on some Ebon Gear for some single hit spells, but it's really a tossup.

Also, Ebur giving bigger bonuses makes sense since they drop from non soloable draw in type mobs whereas ebon and furia pigment drop from pixies that can be solo'd

I can't speak much for melees, but for SCH the Ebon Coat without any evoliths attached is probably the strongest nuking body available with 5 INT and 4 MAB(aside from ACP). You can defeat the fomor NM for the polearm with a party of 6, so shouldn't be a big deal to get, if the Sarissa ends up being worth it.

Also Bloodlapper: Wind magic enmity-2, light empty upward triangle, size 5.

Does anyone know what can be etched into the Ebon coat? I plan on getting one for my sch regardless but I'm a bit curious what Slot 1/2/3 are able to hold.

1. dark/earth/water/ice vs. family evolith
2. light/fire/wind/thunder vs. family evolith
3. dark/earth/water/ice magic: whatever evolith

was dark element for the magic slot on the bard fast cast hat, dyed white.
other slots cant recall. I just know the magic slot was bigger than the normal base Ebon type.
I think you could pick between them anyhow. But the song augment she wanted was dark element.

No, bodies don't have magic slot that ive seen. Could be wrong though, didn't etch the white and red robes yet.

The bodies do have an open triangle, but ebon/furia seem to be limited to 5 in that slot. People are thinking that Ebur increases the max number but it still seems unconfirmed. It's also unclear if you get to pick light aligned elements for that slot.

The mage bodies don't have an open up triangle for the last slot? I know that the Ebon Harness specializations gives out an Open Up Triangle but the highest size is a 5. Also isn't the last slot dark aligned? Is Furia 3rd slot Light as well?
