Hmmmm... If Machismo can indeed hold +20attack and +3%Triple, that really is quite good. It still has to compete against Blau and X's though hmm.. So for a mandau sub it'd kind of ~. Machismo/Blau though with those mods would be pretty good.

In case anyone is curious about the ebur gear aperture sizes, it looks like all three sizes will be the same as what the first aperture is on the ebon piece. I have only upgraded the body and the hands,

so I'm not 100% certain but that's what it seems like. So this means the magic slot the head should be able to be a 6, body 8, and the rest will be 5's. There haven't been a whole lot of screenshots anyways, so it's something to look at at least~

So what's the difference between ebony and ebur gear? Ebur can get size 8 on the last slot?

Ebur mixes up the elements for each slot, allowing you to put both vs.family att+ and vs.family acc+ on the same item, for example. Ebon doesn't allow that with it's elemental set up for each slot.

Not necessarily, the elements are mixed around for each slot:

Ebur
1) Fire, Ice, Earth, and Wind
2) Thunder, Water, Light and Dark

The Ebon and Furia are straight light or dark aligned elements for each slot.
The Ebur is a mix of light and dark elements

Ebur has the highest possible etch sizes as well it seems.

8x sugaars now, gotten size 2 2 2 2 3 4 4 5 evoliths;; friend got a 6 first try
4x muus, gotten 4 4 4 5 sizes;; friend got a 6 on 2nd try.

Hopefuly these go to 7 or 8 sizes if you farm them enough. Anyone else been farming these two find bigger than 6?

Cool. Is there a thread that talks about all of the ebur gear? I looked in the synergy findings thread and all I saw was a post saying 'we have no idea what ebur does' and then another post saying 'ebur has restored my faith in the synergy system' with no explanation in-between. I feel like I've missed some crucial bit of information somewhere.

Woah that persons "Sword Weaponskill: Crit Hit Rate" is the worst ive seen. I wouldn't even bother with it at that low a rate. I got two 3%, im hoping that it can go to to 4%/5%.

So you would rather leave the slot empty than put in a 1% crit rate one? You do know you can replace them at any time if you find better right?

I've killed the stupid peiste 8x and I still haven't gotten higher than 2% yet, is lots of luck involved.

Probably should have erased it and tried for 8 8 5 though, in case you get lucky and find an 8 size crit evo.

has anything even remotely BLM-worthy been found yet? I know the MAB/INT coat is already okay-ish but not spotted anything worth slotting in besides the seriously situational vs Elementals thingy~

dmg related for say nukes outside of a Vs family, only thing available is elemental "n"+ crit rate % from what i remember seeing.
