Is anyone else absolutely loving the new random dungeon feature?
Is anyone else absolutely loving the new random dungeon feature?
Is anyone not? lol
I don't love random occulus
Oculus is so easy though. While there are retards it only takes like 2 people to kill the boss really.
Random dungeon has its ups and downs. I don't like being randomed into a dungeon with any less than all bosses up, and I really don't like it when I have to leave the queue to turn down a group in that shape.
all my random groups.. up to where I got perky pug.. every tank was over 35,000hp... and all the dps cept a small few did atleast 3K dps in 5man
didn't seem so bad for me, even got a few kill records even!
Randoms do seem to give me geared tanks and healers but shit dps.
I'm inclined to agree with Correction. It might just be my battlegroup, but almost everyone I've run with has been quite good and, being freshly 80, I always feel like I'm struggling a bit to keep pace. I wasn't paying attention, though, and got invited into a heroic Pit of Saron that had already been started and after they wiped due to a bad trash pull, people started dropping left and right, so after wasting 15 minutes and having died, I gave up, too. It's a statistically insignificant sample, but it's like running out to rep someone in FFXI: sometimes it turns out great and you'll have a strong party that lasts, but most of the time it falls apart 5 minutes after you get there.

thank you blizz.. there will be some people kneeling.. when the day comes...
25-50% drop rate!
I'm somewhat confused as to how this new arcane 3% damage buff works. Sometimes it procs during raids/heroics when I crit...sometimes it doesn't. Is it bugged?
It's the same buff as Ferocious Inspiration (Hunter) and Sanctified Retribution (Paladin), so you may be seeing it disappear/overwrite because of those.
My group didn't have a Hunter, and the Paladin wasn't using Sanctified Retribution. It must be another buff somewhere.
Oh, I get it now. Sanctified Retribution gives anyone with an aura buff a 3% damage increase.
Thanks!
So I think extending lockout on heroics may actually be bad, at least for the ones people skip bosses in.
I was extending old kingdom and halls of stone every day, and people always want to skip shit in them, and I swear every day that I extended their lockouts they were the first 2 dungeons I got every damn time.
So yeah, I dunno if it's like assuming you extended because you want those bosses or what, but at best extending is entirely pointless, and at worst it may actually draw you to the ones you extend, at least if there would have still been bosses in them. (it's always fresh instances)
edit:
Oh, and I got the best pug ever yesterday.
HoL.
Really good druid healer.
Asked tank to hurry up, tank was like "why everyone always rush?"
Healer starts pulling more shit. Tank's like "I'm not touching those." We do a couple pulls with the healer tanking and healing himself and me dpsing, because the other dps didn't think we should rush either...
Said fuck it and left after like 10 minutes when we got to a group too big for the healer to tank and the warrior just stood there bitching.
Pit of Saron normal. DK DPSing in like, blue-crafted tank plate and frost presence. 700ish DPS throughout the entire instance. I vote to kick him about 3 times in the first boss because he didn't even break 500dps on a spank and tank boss, and the rest of the party stands up for him, saying I'm elitist because I don't feel like doing 54% of the total damage in the group.
