well with the needs of ten thousands of players for the closed beta, i can imagine anet giving their developers the right to pick a couple hundreds from the cake. cliff's a software dev there, so he's surely involved in their stress tests. after all, it's not like you have something to loose.

That's just why you need a decent guild so you don't need externals butting in. I'm 80% done with the backend php programming for a gw2 guild website. If anyone who's good with php and SQL security experience wants to post here or pm me I could get it up much quicker. Last thing i need is tons of open doors. I think I've done a decent job at patching most of it though. Otherwise Syntex needs to stop being so busy so he can lend a hand and my gf is going to do up the art since I'm creatively retarded.

can pm me if you have some specific question but judging by the sound of it, you didn't use a framework. that would've been my very first tip for a project without some extremly wierd requirements.

Well the background is technically phpbb since I'm using their session code to have a universal site login. But other than that all the php code I've done by hand.
