Lol! Nice.
Lol! Nice.
I saw that earlier and made my own. Posted it in Media.
Massively has an article up with info on pre-orders and a picture of what you get with the Collectors edition ($149.99). Any pre-order of the game (basic edition or otherwise) after April 10 gets you into beta events and 3-day head start.

From 10th April, players can pre-purchase the Guild Wars 2 Collector’s, Digital Deluxe or Standard Editions from buy.guildwars2.com or select retailers. All players that pre-purchase Guild Wars 2 will be given access to all upcoming beta events and will be given head start access prior to release. Follow the link for more information about this and our incredible Collector’s Edition!
Here is the link for preorder from the GW2 Facebook page https://buy.guildwars2.com/
Seems like Digital Deluxe for me. I don't care about physical stuff because it usually just ends up taking up a shitload of space. I'm surprised that they put that up a month before they are even taking pre-orders.
Based off 4/10 for the purchase date, probably a June release?
Sorry about posting its own thread. I am excite.
I'm the same Dantrag. I bought CE for XIV and stuff is still in the box. And for GW2 I just might get normal version, only thing I like in Digital Deluxe is the mini (other stuf is mostly one use only if you read description) and maybe I can buy that off a friend ingame. If the soundtrack would be available separately (or part of Digital Deluxe) I would buy that. Jeremy Soule /eternalpraise

MSRP 150$
I'm from Europe and this will probably be 150 EUR here = 195$ so no thanks :D
The thing that sucks is that everything is one time use or 5 days. Which kinda sucks. But hey, if it helps the guild out enough might be worth $70 or $80.
Well, the Rytlock miniature and the Mistwolf Elite Skill seem permanent.
Should be nice having a bunch of guild members using the influence thing straight away to kick start the guild. :D
Digital Edition ($59.99), Digital Deluxe ($79.99), Collectors Edition ($149.99)
The Minimum System Requirements have also been announce (though may change):
- Windows® XP Service Pack 2 or better
- Intel® Core™ 2 Duo 2.0 GHz, Core i3, AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 or better
- 25GB available HDD space
- Broadband Internet Connection
- Keyboard & Mouse
lol Tonka, I'll let you post/gather info; just posted that in the other thread. Great minds think alike and all that.
Our minds are great, aren't they?
If i had to speculate, and i am going to speculate, we'll get a release date sometime before april 10th. They probably have an internal date set now and if all goes well with the beta test this month then it'll set that date in stone and they'll release it. Maybe they will hold off on a release date if things don't go well.
I like this part myself.
"Due to potential changes, system requirements may change over time, and you may be required to upgrade your current system (or obtain a new system) to continue to play the game."
No more accommodating those 10 people with the 8 year old piece of shit PC. The requirements are surprisingly low to begin with, but I still like the disclaimer.
I can't decide between the digital and digital deluxe edition. I know it's gonna be great, but I still have a bad taste in my mouth from SWTOR.
Tons of people warned everyone about TOR but no one listened. I warned you all.![]()
Seems Guild Wars 2 will have an official forum to talk about and discuss everything to do with the game as well as "building community."

Time to get my Top Hat and my Monocle™
An email about beta invites was posted on a few gaming sites but got yanked pretty quickly. Anyone get it?
All I got.Guild Wars 2 Select Media Beta Invites Going Out | Guild Wars 2 Beta News Source - Guild Wars Insider
Just received an email from NCsoft PR, another round of select media beta invites are going out. This is not a public beta test, but another closed media event similar to last month.
It runs from Friday, March 23 to Sunday, March 25.
The embargo for coverage will lift on the Monday, March 26, 6:00AM PDT. All coverage and details of the beta must be posted after this date.
So it sounds like we won't have the public beta until the 30th then.
