As you may be aware, invitations to the event have started going out. If you have been selected, you will receive an invite in the next couple of days. Please keep in mind that we only have a limited amount of slots for each Beta Event, so not everyone will be able to participate.

And if you got in your allowed to say so. That's not breaking the NDA. You just can't talk about actual game stuff

This is incorrect. There will be events before pre purchase goes live. Which from the info I read you cannot talk about and is invite only.

Rumor going around that game is released on May 20th and first BETA event starts April 20th.

Hey guys I have interesting news from Finland

So yeah I went this morning to our closest gamestore called VPD and I asked about the Guild wars 2 collectors edition. now this is where it gets interesting:

The guy who was at the desk told me that they are getting the pre-purchase box on 10 of april just us we have been told, but he also said that their shipping company who ships the games to Finland had said that the first beta weekend would be april 20-23 and the 3 day headstart acces key can be used on may 17

I took this info with grain of salt but it seems fairly interesting that the shipping company who supplies the items said this.

I talked about 5mins with the guy who knows me (I am a regular there) and it seems you "buy" the pre-purchase box and inside you got the codes for the beta and headstart kinda like swtor had their pre-release box here in Finland. then on release what he implied was on may 21 I could go and pick up the collectors edition box itself.

If nothing else I am wiser on the 10th of april when I go pick up my pre-purchase box.

Grain of salt and such.

You are allows to say "there is a beta and I am in it.". That does not break the NDA and never has. You are in no way divulging any info about the game
