I heard from a friend that he got an invite this (friday) early morning gmt. apparently no further info regarding beta so it probably won't be for this weekend. given the context that arenanet twittered yesterday, that you won't be in for this weekend if you haven't received an invite yet.

For some reason I doubt they're going to say, "you broke NDA, no games EVER for you." Would be as simple as registering under someone elses name.

I'm not sure how they could link account names together. Can they request email/name info from websites that have people spouting off?

HoM isn't hard. You can get to 30 in maybe 200 hours with some idea of what you're doing.

Also HoM is linked through account email, not ncsoft master account.

Yes. Your accounts are linked by email. So whatever email you used for your gw2 account will also get your corresponding gw1 account on the same email banned. Therefor killing your HoM progress.

So based on what GW2 twitter is saying now it appears that a lot of people who got invited have no idea what an NDA actually means. This amuses me somewhat.

The answer to that is yes... whether TPTB would give that info or not is another question. I am sure though that there would be some sort of ramification if they or BG's service provider didn't provide it.

However, I am quite sure that Arena.net is not going to troll a ton of forums looking for people who are saying "woohoo look at me, I got in the beta!" and are more interesting to those that say that AND post a picture/stream/video/etc of it.
