Yeah, MMORPG just have away another 500 keys. Some other random sites have been giving out keys as well. I just hope that them opening up the game this much means release isn't too far off.

Got a couple of keys for friends reluctant to prepurchase, from the MMORPG.com giveaway. Maaan those went fast, got the second friend's key with less than 20 left. Screw those "post a funny caption lulz!!" Contests, though :[

1500 keys (300 for premium users) giveaway here: http://www.gamestar.de/index.cfm?pid=1887. it's in german but all you need to do is to fill out the form at the bottom. anrede = form of address (herr = mr, frau = ms), vorname = first name, name = surname. it ends on the 3rd and keys are sent on the 4th.

Our hard-working IT team has spent the last couple of weeks getting our servers ready in Europe and North America. Our next Beta Weekend Event is this weekend (June 8-10), so we checked in with our IT Director Jared Chavez to see how things are going. I normally turn my nose at "gaming" headsets, but that pair looks pretty nice. I bet it will still cost more than midrange audiophile cans, but that's nice swag :D I'd probably snag them if I didn't already have a nice pair.

Really stoked to be able to actually play with friends this weekend, lots of great changes in such a short time (although obviously a lot of it was done before the last weekend I expect).

just in case the new overflow changes don't work (or well enough) and you want to play with a friend, get them to stand near where you are (just so you can see them when you log on, or have them in your party and their actual portrait will appear once you get on the same overflow server), then log out and back in for a while. It doesn't take long, and when you log back in you'll either get the real server or a random overflow, possibly the one your friend is on.
