How was engineer feeling during the BWE3? I didn't have a chance to play but was kind of disappointed with it in BWE2, it was my most looked forward to class prior to that. The turrets are clunky and stupid, and get focussed down very quickly. They have a horrible cooldown (which I get is to emphasise tactical placement but STILL) and picking them up provides hardly any benefit. In a game that emphasises constant movement they just felt like a bit of a shitty slot. Also, some of the kits felt fairly samey and pretty much were just a slightly different way of doing the same thing, it felt like there wasnt a huge amount of benefit of switching between them rather than blasting shit with my pistol/shield combo.
The mines seemed shitty and I disliked not having the option of an autoattack on any kits, and my deeps seemed quite a bit lower than playing other classes (although Im fairly sure they buffed this a bit, would be nice to know whether theyre in line with the rest now)
So if anyone has any insight on how it felt in BWE3 that'd be great! I know theyve dropped the minekit in favour of a single skill or something which sounds like an improvement.
