in other news I need a new TV show to watch (at work mostly lol)

True Blood only recently started shoting season 3
Heroes is on hiatus til January as well I think
Dexter will conclude this season next Sunday, hopefully no cliffhanger there
I'm rewatching Sopranos with the woman (she hasn't seen it, and I haven't seen the final season)
Lost I'm struggling to keep interest
Mad Men is easier to watch at home due to lack of supported sites at work
Supernatural won't have new episodes for a while (also Janurary 21st it seems)
Lie to Me -- ooooh, I haven't seen the 2nd season, that'll do for a bit

I know I should watch HIMYM and It's Always Sunny.. but I'm more into an over-arching storyline than comedies at the moment

I should finish the mentalist, that seemed pretty cool, I saw the first 8 episodes


any other suggestions?

House isn't very overarching but it's great. Battlestar galactica is great, fringe is good. Watch firefly and then watch castle after if you like Fillion.

my gf calls it that show with teen nudity but that's a horrid way to sum up a really good drama

the 1st 2 seasons have one set of characters with some side characters and the 3rd season focuses more on the side characters

I got fairly attached to most of them and I'd have to say the character development and the interplay between them is what makes it. Most of the characters are pretty charming, funny or sexy

I know it must sound generic but I was hooked after 1 episode, drwaffles had Effy as his avatar for quite some time, she becomes more prominent in Season 3, very enigmatic before hand, never speaking (or rarely, pretty sure never though)

I think I watched the 1st 2 seasons, is the series complete? I absolutely love completed series

my friend was watching that show and her msn comment was something like WATCHING BATTLESTAR AWESOMESTAR 3-11 or whatever episode she was on and it changed quite rapidly over a period of days, so she pretty much marathoned the crap out of it


I should finish it, I forgot about that series, last I watched the 2nd or 3rd cylon clone type was revealed

I even tried watching a scene and the film quality and fashion looks like it was shot in the 80s.

I mean, hell, even footballers wives had nudity, and you can always cast above age, BBC has no excuse.

Ugh, I hated fringe. Soooooo facepalmingly bad.

Watch the new serieses (2000s) of Dr Who, The Wire is awesome, Battlestar Galactica is really cool up until like the last episode which just made me mayad (but don't let that phase you, it's an awesome series). Also, House is good, for the witty writing and Hugh Laurie. After I finish Mad Men I'm going to start on Stargate Universe which I've heard is good.

I dunno if you guys get the Space Channel in the states (I very much doubt you have it in belgium lol) but it is all kinds of awful, and the Fringe is always on it

so is BSG but that is the exception!

Ya that was one of the best ones, I also really liked the finale of the prior season, it may have been the premier of the season after that finale but I think it was the finale. Can't remember the other great eps but I know there was a few. They do an excellent job of making the music make everything so much better.

While fringe is far fetched it's still not garbage, it's not the kind of show that will make you marathon it but it is pretty consistently good.

I know for sure I am forgetting some show that I really love but I can't figure it out.

Even though I haven't finished Kings because I have a disease where I save the best for last which affects the order I watch tv shows I dl, it's a really good show. It's only like 10-12 episodes and since I haven't finished it (I'm on ep 8 I think) I don't know how well it got wrapped up but it's a very high quality show.
