Yeah the first 40 challenges were quite easy for the most part. I also enjoyed the Challenges 1 and 2 seperation, much better than before.
Downloaded it for the Wii ( <3 softmods) to dink around in while I wait impatiently for the PS3 release in a good 48 hours.
Not liking the new music, sounds uninspired compared to 9, but loving the stage designs.......I just wish they were a little more cheap though, as I didn't really have any problems getting to the bosses like I did with 9. Some of those challenges are pissing me off though, especially the underwater one with the spikes.
[EDIT] Jesus fucking christ, Hard mode is just plain mean.
Necrobump but Bass comes out today if I remember right. Won't be home until late so hope to hear good news about him!
Yeah Enker's stage is out today too I think. Punk's and Ballade's comes out later in the month. I won't be buying them until exams are over![]()
Anyone able to recommend a stage for bolt farming on Hard mode? I used to do Sheep Man on Normal due to the huge amount of easy bolts lying about that stage, but on hard they lowered the amount of them everywhere.
I finally bought this game and as usual with a Megaman game, I enjoyed it a lot. For some reason this one really reminded me of 1. Not sure why. The only thing I really didn't like about this one was Wily. He seemed too easy this time. I remember 9's Wily took me a while to get down.
Also, like people mentioned earlier, I wish there were more challenges. They went by way to fast. Although, it was pretty good practice for the Time Attacks. I finally made the top 10 (number 10 exact lol) for Blade Man's stage on the PS3 Rankings after a shit load of Retry's lol.
Edit: Oh yeah, I forgot to ask. For the 'Mr. Perfect' trophy, are you allowed to save after each stage and then re-load if you happen to get hit and still get it?
Saving is allowed for each stage. Best to do it on Easy mode since that allows saving between Wily stages.......not to mention makes the game easier >.>
3/8 on my Mr.Perfect, been pissed off at Chill Man. For some reason I always get hit once fighting him, typically right before I'm about to land the final hit with Solar Man's weapon.
Only reason I found Wily a joke in MM10 is because you're not doing 3 bloody forms back-2-back like in MM9, instead you get a joke of a final stage to face his not-so-hard final showdown.
That's good about the saving thing.
As for Chill Man, do you use the canceling trick(changing back and forth between Solar Man's power and a different one to get rid of the wait in between shots) with Solar Man's power? I noticed it helps a lot with taking him out really quick in the Time Attack replay videos.
Lol. Yeah, some of those players are pretty crazy. Ga-Hi- and imovk (or something like that) specifically.
wasn't today supposed to be the release date for bass on PSN?
Special Stage 1 & Bass were released on PSN today.
Bass isn't compatible with challenges/trophies for those curious.
Does anyone know what the ????????? option is below Time Attack to chose? I beat the game on hard and normal mode and it still hasn't opened ?
DLC areas.
I bought the first one (I know it's just Capcom milking us for our money, but meh, only a buck), map's design was uninspired, but it was challenging none the less. Couldn't figure out how to put a single dent into the boss though (stupid gimmicks), and it's hard when you have to do the entire level in one go.
Oh, that.
It'll probably be Endless Mode like MM9 had, which was also DLC. >.>
Enker works the same as he did in Megaman for GB. He's immune to all special weapons, and his spear can gather and reflect energy, so the only time you can hit him really is when he's jumping or the second before he protects himself with his spear. He's a tough boss for certain.
Didn't know he was a cameo, which GB rendition of Megaman was he on?
Makes me wish Capcom would have a bundle sale of the MM9 DLC, I'd certainly grab them all for $5 if they did one. Wouldn't mind trying the special stage for that.
