I never said he was an elite quarterback. And he's still better than Romo because in crunch time he makes the plays. Also there's two perfectly thrown balls that Nicks dropped, enough about his accuracy.

Believe it or not, Romo makes plays too, for every single game this year, they've been in a position to win, he's put them there. There's been many games where both have been really bad and i've seen more of those from Eli than Romo; and when they're Eli, it seems like their more Clutchlike than the ones i've seen from Romo. I think his 1 SB win (yes it's huge) just puts him too far up the list than most make him out to be. Currently, this season, I like Romo far more than like Eli. That, and whenever he speaks Eli sounds like an idiot.

It wasn't just the super bowl if you want to be fair, it was that whole run where he was better than Romo in his own stadium and better than Favre in his own stadium, and was one better than Brady. After that run too, he's made a living of late game drives and being good when it counts. He doesn't get enough credit for the deep ball that he throws either.

I'd say the public perception of Eli is right on, he's not an elite QB, he's not his brother, he's not the most accurate, but he's still dangerous when the game is on the line.
