Defensive Driving Course Online

Odd question, I know, but has anyone taken a Defensive Driving Course online? The woman at the judge's office told me to search for one, take it, and email her the completion page. I was expecting something associated with the state, but is it actually a freelance business? Multiple sites pop up on my searches and I want to make sure the course I take will actually qualify me.

if you are going to do it online, say for a speeding ticket, you usually have to rent the videos/dvd's at blockbuster or some place for 40$ and watch and then take test online.

http://www.defensivedriving.com/ I -think- that's the one I had to take to get rid of a speeding ticket years ago. Shitsux because you have to wait a specific amount of time before going forward on each page to "ensure" you complete the required time. I know a long time ago you could pop open another tab and do whatever (porn, Nanaca Crash) on Firefox, but the second time I had to take it (vroom vroom) the timer would freeze.

They say I can go at my own pace (faster). But you guys pretty much answered my question; there are multiple ways to do it online instead of one expected method.

Usually the websites will say whether or not you'll get credit for taking it in your state. They are pretty lenient and don't really care which you do, as long as you took it and have proof. I'd print out the certificate if I were you.. just in case! I remember taking a free one a while ago but I can't recall where. Basically what burrito said - it's really easy (can even cheat, google etc) but you're stuck with that timer.
