Took single player to the end and stopped. Fun but not worth a second playthrough when alone.

I got bored of Borderlands within 30 minutes. Refresh my memory, but couldn't you miss shit that you shot at within your crosshairs? I remember something like that pissing me off.

Story isn't the greatest in the world but I liked the characters and the skill system (although the skill system would have been a lot cooler if like half the abilities weren't useless)

I finished my Siren to 50, beat 2nd playthrough and I can honestly say that my abilities are using all the best ones with no crappy ones

Increased rate of fire, increased crits, increased duration of my action skill (which is awesome), regenerating health while action skill is active, aoe dmg burst when my action skill ends, cooldown reduction of said action skill, increased damage and velocity of bullets, shield regens a % after killing bad guys etc

not a weak one in the bunch

there's also some increased movement speed that I could spec but honestly idk why I'd want that, it's not really that valuable in this game since moving and shooting (accurately) isn't too hot

If you noticed above, I said weekdays and Sundays, Saturdays are always bad (usually with the woman or I rarely sacrifice that in favor of some time and a half extra hours)

man, I love my siren so much though. I could honestly play it all over again with my siren

I'd do things a little different in weapon choice though. SMG is my favorite weapon, Colenzo convinced me of the merits of shotgun and it's my close 2nd

I just wish I got a corrosive x4 good damage SMG for Old Haven and onwards, cuz straight up damage doen't help much when the dudes are wearing shields AND armor

so pretty much from that point onward in the playthrough it's shotgun only except for bosses



kind've a shame though cuz I got a +52% SMG damage mod WITH +16 ammo regen

I was still rocking 1600+ shield even with that ridiculous mod (and my choice of 2x110 SMG high accuracy or 4x82 low accuracy SMG -- which is fine for up close 3 crits to the head "1" shotting/single trigger pull spurt)

I got a pestilent defiler early on. I've been a slave to that gun ever since.

keep your pestilent stuff, it's not that great early on in favor of higher damge things but heavily armored skags, bosses with annoying weapons and the dudes with armor work well with it for immediately wearing down the defenses in the case of the latter or having them still take damage while you duck back and recover your shield under cover

also pretty much* any element x4 is worth keeping

x4 lightning is great for late in the game, I won't say for what

my x4 65%+ accuracy shotgun was amazing though, I really wish I knew this for my 1st playthrough
