lol, ICP was awesome back in the 90s, after that they sucked though.

Obviously if you take the whole mentality of it (clowns, maggots, etc (<3 me some slipknot though)) youre an idiot, but damn, their lyrics had me laughing all the time.


Some of their beats were fairly decent, but if you took them seriously at any point, thats where you go down hill. But really, their always good for a listen as their lyrics are just.. insane lol.

Someone I used to work with tried convincing me to listen to ICP by telling me a lot of their lyrics had powerful meaning behind them, and was full of Christian references. I never listened to him beyond that nor did I follow it up and research it.

My friends buddies went completly berserk and swore off ICP forever.

Whether this is true or not, I do not know.

I was actually looking this up awhile ago. It's the last song on their The Wraith: Shangri-La. Basically they have some made up religion/preaching that's about going to Shangri-La(heaven) or Hell's Pit(hell) and have at least 2 CDs dedicated to discussing it. Apparently people actually believe in this, since that dead baby girl was talking about how great Shangri-La must be and how all the true jugaloos must be there

I actually like some of ICP's older stuff, mainly on the great malinko album. Seems like after that it just degraded though, haven't heard anything from them in a long time that even sparked my interest.
