So just curious because I actually took the time to read this cross server thread. Is he not listening to what shell/sackholders are saying because they are idiots and aren't doing things correctly or just because he prefers his own way? No one was really specific about how he didn't listen

Prefers his own way would be putting it nicely. He just plain did whatever the hell he wanted after his trial was done, especially after he got what he wanted.

It doesn't make a difference if he had one or three jobs that could use them, or whether he had those jobs at max level for a week or a year. He was able to bid according to the rules of the LS, and you couldn't accept that fact so you pulled an attitude with a sackholder. And then you started skipping ls events & camping to do whatever the hell you wanted and pulling attitudes with everyone else.

And for the record, Feril playing his one week old BLM put more skill and effort into the job than several of the other BLMs in the linkshell, and on occasion he was probably better than even some of the regulars. So that excuse of yours is more of your BS.

Hello this is Ponto, a sackholder from Pixies LS on Ramuh. A issue with some people from Pixies is that we didn't know he was applying while still part of our Linkshell, which was very kind of him to inform us about (sarcasm). I do understand he is from PST and possible work schedule may conflict with running in a European based Linkshell. Also, the fact the shell itself has changed its rules set-up internally has upset him at the fact he has to buy Hauteclaire possibly if he wants it (something hes been camping for a while). Take into account the reasoning for why he bounced with his application.

In regards to Anesti's ability as a player, he is good at a select number of jobs magewise and is well geared overall, although some of his ability or knowledge about other jobs and specific events could be called into question. Attitude wise, Uryuu did nail it on the head; he initially will be very friendly and pretty much a kiss ass, and will slowly grow into a annoying to listen to individual who will whine about trivial things not going his way like lots on items etc. If this doesn't bother you and you are basing the application on the jobs the man has and the equipment, then hes a good pickup. However if you like a welcoming friendly atmosphere, I would steer clear of this one, was a mistake for me personally to tell him he should reapply to us (he was denied a initial first time).

In a Salvage sense, since this is where i've played with Anesti, i'd say bando or attack hands are better. The only thing that i'd agree to having those hands on (without full set) is Armored Chariot and Treasure Hunters, but they were used everywhere, so

I can't really comment on what everyone else is saying but I was in a salavge group with Anesti. He was a skilled player when it came to that. Good guy to get along with. Never had any issues with him. Was very good on the jobs we asked him to come.

When I said that it was more a reference to the fact that even if you cannot stand people, you bare with them in this game for the reason they are part of what helps you accomplish things and obtain equipment etc, nice try at trying to make me look bad though.

And I rightfully have the choice to log in and log off depending how I feel that day, as it is a game afterall, not something that pays me to log on to camp Khimaira for you, you should think about that, take into consideration how often you get easily winded up sitting playing this game. You should know I dislike your moodiness, I did directly say I hated your whining on ventrilo, I am pretty straightforward about that and about anything I say to anyone as Pixies people and anyone else who have gotten to know me over the past year on Ramuh know. GL with your hunt for a shell, it could be a long one haha.

Don't think I can add anymore that already hasn't been said. But to put things into perspective here's the incident that ultimately made me lose all respect for him.

Was during a normal LS Dynamis event, we had a bad pull and got more than we bargained for so we all wipe. Few mages are still alive so they start handing out raises before the entire LS wipes completely, Anesti being one of the few whom got raised. He immediately gets up after the spell gets casted on him but because there were a few mobs running around he dies again, being the person that he is he starts to QQ about how he should have been told to not get up and starts bitching at the person to gave him the raise. I mean really who the fuck is going to sit around and explain to people to look before you get up?

I've been with Anesti in two different LSs.

Skill-wise, he's decent to good, definitely above average. Gear-wise, I'm pretty sure he's also above average, but I haven't checked his character lately.

When he's taking part in an event, he's not the "sheep" type of member, he's normally proactive and will often discuss strategies with whoever is leading. I lead a salvage group he was a part of, and he did fine for a while, until he made a rather miserable mistake which lead to half the group hating him (my best friends in game were rather cuntish haha). But other than that, he did fine. It's evident he normally tries to do things his way, and that's not a bad thing if you know how to use it in your favour. Discuss strats beforehand, and you may come up with an even better plan than the one you had in mind. One thing worth noting though, he's not the type of player to keep his mouth shut, and he can be a bit temperamental in tense moments, or when mistakes happen.

I'd recommend him. The fact he failed trial in a LS like Empire should not be conclusive for anything, as they probably got rid of him because he was trying to stick some sense into their heads anyway <.<

As for the whole Uryuu & co. comments, I wouldn't take them seriously. Anesti is worth more than that, and will bring more to your LS than any of those butthurt people could ever fathom.
