I'm pretty sure that RDM/DNC can get close to capped accuracy with Crab Sushi on birds, while still using a haste setup.

Good point, after some of the calculations you guys showed me i'm only at about 85% acc, with crab sushi that would put me at/near cap. Those are cheap/easy to make so I'll have to switch.

Curing Waltz II powered by an ~55% hastened Joyeuse + a BRD who's pulling with a chakram is incredibly effective(probably barely/no more effective than the standard method, but its got the added bonus of not putting you to sleep).

EDIT: Toss in an additional 15% haste if you've got a loaded RDM and a merited DNC

Call me crazy here but what is wrong with pulling with Therenody? unless that- resistence reflected back at is to deadly to handle,i guess it works either way, but what would be the point of rdm/dnc meele.. if meriting is really that dull i guess.

In my experience, pulling with elegy is slower and not worth my precious 1 extra second per pull. Also, using lamiabane or what-have-you has a longer range (sometimes meaning the difference between being able to grab a bird from lower or not).

For a good merit party -on birds- elegy isn't necessary as the colibri should be dying quickly enough that even pecking fury is rare. Therefore, the added speed/range of using a ranged weapon to pull wins out.

Now if we're talking about a non-bird party like MMJ or something, elegy all the way.

P.S. I do not support rdm melee outside of solo/low-man messing around (I don't give a rat's ass if you can keep up with your haste/refresh cycle, do that shit on your own time).

The problem with Threondy is the long animation lock. You have to blink that shit out. Easier to just use Elegy (which doesn't have the lock) or one of the IS throwing weapons.

never said this, i said that i have chainspelled slept the gears many times and then the rest of the party killed them one at a time while i kept the rest gravitied/bound/slept. I did speculate that killing the gears might up the drop rate of usu body (at the time SE had put out that by doing some unmentioned action that droprates would go up).

The reason he thought it was their fault was because they didnt erase terror apparently. The fact that he was on his shitty 74 thief which sucks balls may have had something to do with it.
