FFXI: Windower(Plugins) Issues

Okay,

(Windows XP)

I installed FFXI on my Girlfriend's computer using this guide, (though I did get errors for some of the .dll files, I couldn't get the method to work properly for me.. kept getting errors). Playonline loads fine, FFXI loads fine, except 4 plugins seem to be crashing it:

Recast, TParty, Distance and DrawDistance.

All of the plugins are new and my .NET Framework is up to date.

The only other issue I'm having is that after loading Launcher_Gui and editing registry settings I get a "cannot read registry" error message.

I would have posted this on windower forums but I keep getting an error message. I was logged in on the windower forums and noScript is off temporarily off for windower forums.

This is the error windower forums gave me:

As I said in my first post I am unable to post on the windower site (in any section) because of this error. As I also said I'm logged into the windower site and my NoScript is on "Temporarily Allow" for the windower forums site.

That was my first guess, too. I redownloaded all the plugins and updated my .NET Framework. Still no good. ..

That error you're getting on the Windower site is purely server-side, it's nothing you can fix.

Make sure your FFXI Config is properly setup, if things like sound are disabled there will not be a registry entry for them.
