yeah I read it as a requirement to get into English honors in high school, along with books called Hiroshima and Fast Food Nation, which were both good reads. Oh man I remember the guy writing Hiroshima said he helped some lady out of a river after the bomb and he grabbed both her arms to lift her up and her skin came off like gloves.
Anyways, I was really into the Hot Zone when I read that book. I don't know why it interested me so much. Hell yeah bleeding out from every orifice of your body.
Absolutely terrifying. Bleeding at injection sites is ridiculous.
