Unless you're referring to the 32bit to 64bit, the regular method of transferring files, registry and using the regsrv32 has worked for me for the past 3 reinstalls in the past few months. Going from 32 to 64, you might need to install the vista pol, update it, and then copy that onto the original copied directory, idk really

I was referring to XP/32bit. I'd always just copied folders and used a .reg key and regsrv to install on different systems. It worked fine for multiple copies up until a few months ago, when it just stopped working. after doing everything, and loading it up I would get an error on POL saying the game wasn't installed. I ended up just reinstalling the game from iso's and then copying over the relevent folders from my previous installs.
