The quest rewards are so small in Aion that literally 99% of the time you'll get better exp from grinding non-stop than running back and forth completing quests. I and others bored enough to calculate exp/hour in various scenarios found you can get 2-3x more exp at times (and far more on average) by just solo grinding non-stop all the way to 50.
This especially becomes apparent at 30-35+, because even if you do every single quest available each time you ding you'd be lucky to get even 1/4th of your total exp bar. Past 50 I doubt you could even get 1/7th.
In WoW, you level entirely to 80 on quests and it's most often also the best way to do so. However this is completely different in Aion; you don't really get that until you're a bit further into the game though.
