Batman: Arkham City (Asylum 2)

I'm fairly far in the game at this point. I found it really really difficult to counter the Ra's Al Ghul katana chicks. They seem to swipe much faster than thugs with glass bottles and knives. It's better to double jump over them and punch them in the back, but it usually ruins my Hit count.

Combine that mechanic with people throwing boxes/gas containers at you, people with shields, people with armor (that ruin hit counters, UGH) and a sometimes bad camera angle = get hit constantly

Wasn't too excited about the final boss. It felt like just another normal boss fight to me and when I got the trophy for the game's end I went wtf?

Kinda sad I didn't pre-order this just so I had another Batman costume to look at for New-Game+. And I didn't realize how much I relied on the counter icons until playing NG+ and getting my ass handed to me. Game had a few rough spots with random fights but the main story line was very short considering I beat it in 3 evenings after work. There is a lot of side stuff to do at least, but that will probably grow dull quickly.

Disagree here...a lot of the sidequests are just as substantial in story elements. Of course, if all you cared about was the main story that's your prerogative. Figuring out how to defeat the Riddler is a large part of the game and unlocks a ton of extra content including challenge maps and special campaign challenges. The hunt for Deadshot, the Identity Thief...finishing Catwoman's quest after the credits roll...etc.

Neither did I notice this, but that might be because I tuned out pretty fast because the credits were taking way too fucking long (seriously, it looked like 10 minutes?) and being pissed how voice actors didn't have their ingame character names listed. I know some, but c'mon, you list what bullshit your staff does, but not for the VA?

Wow, absolutely loved this game. Thought the story was fantastic. Much more epic than the first one. I don't see why people have a problem with it. Everything about the game is better. I didn't finish a lot of the side quests either. Everything fit in so well. I thought the game was going to be too overloaded with supervillians, but it never really feels that way. It was all done so well.

I was wondering what more they can do with the story, but they're obviously prepared for it.
