Batman: Arkham City (Asylum 2)

Finished the game up last night when I got tired of hunting Riddler Trophies and decided to progress the story..

Got all the side-quests done but Riddler's since I need to collect more trophies and the damn AR training, which I will never complete >.>;

The ending felt pretty abrupt, but I'm willing to attribute that to going from wandering around the city for a few days to suddenly having to go from one objective to the next without much freedom. Was really surprised they killed off Joker, but I guess it matches well with what Hamil saying he won't be playing Joker again. They never resolved the issue of Joker sending his blood all over the city though, did they? I mean, I guess they could work out a cure from Wayne's blood(maybe?), but seemed odd that bit was essentially left in the air. Overall I was pretty happy with how the game went and the clues for the next game. I imagine Hush will be the major villain of the next one, but I wonder if he'll figure out that Wayne is Batman before then. It'll be really interesting to see how the ramifications of Arkham City develop in the next game.

Edit: Nvm, you can. I totally would'nt have wanted to replay NG+ so fast again if I couldn't be skinned.

Nah because that was around when you got the message about the cure. So they were just setting up a sidequest during the main story.

I thought the game was great, but they put in way too many batman villains and it made it so none of them had any proper buildup or real fight. A lot of em felt thrown in. The end bits were 100% rushed and the ending lacked the feel of a real accomplishment. The first game's ending wasn't all that or anything, but it was better then Arkham Cities.

Yeah, was a pretty wtf moment and one of those things that kept me from saying all too much about the game back when I beat it. Was an awesome reveal though, had to set down the controller and just go "damn, that was pretty badass". I'd gripe more about how easy he was, but honestly, all of the bosses were pretty easy.

I think there are too many riddler trophies. It's almost overwhelming. Also, how do I continue w/ deadshot's stuff? I can't get the next victim / scenario to pop up

I think the ability to complete Deadshot's side mission locks out if you don't complete it before the end of the story. Otherwise, it should trigger somewhere around the collapsed road by the church, iirc.

Nope, I never even started the Deadshot / Hush sidequests until after I finished the story and got them done. With Deadshot the victims seems to just pop up randomly. With Hush you can just go straight to where the next body is to continue the questline.

I finished every sidequest/riddler trophy after I beat the game. You can do it whenever you want.

Huh, guess that'll teach me to trust any second hand sources. Finished all of it before I finished the game, but I had seen some people bitching around other forums that supposedly some of the side missions locked out after the story ended. Good to know that isn't the case.

Did any of you guys beat the Top of the World Extreme predator challenge as Catwoman, while also receiving all 3 medals? That's the final challenge that I need as Catwoman. It's outrageously difficult. I've spent hours and hours on it, trying all different strategies, but I just can not beat it for the life of me. I would say it's the hardest thing in the game without question.

I think the only thing that you can get locked out of is the achievement that requires Azrael.

I don't even know how someone would miss that, every time he shows up, it's after a cutscene and he's practically right next to you. I suppose that'd make sense though.
