i was actually stuck (on hard) in batman: AA and kind of forgot about the game for months. just picked it back up and beat the part i was stuck on on my third try (the fight vs 10 or so thugs in the entrance of arkham mansion FWIW, i finally realized the importance of counter) and it's been kind of easy ever since, i think i'm getting near the end. got me really pumped for the new game though!
looks pretty awesome, is that an OST i see?
Sweet mother of god, this looks amazing...
So awesome...
Did Batman ever really fight Grundy though? Wasn't he an enemy of GL or Flash?
Batman has encountered Grundy a few times - he lives in the sewers of Gotham. Two-Face/Dent actually befriends him (Grundy) kind of in, iirc, Year One.
http://www.destructoid.com/talia-al-...y-206753.phtmlI suppose Comic-Con is as good a time as any to reveal a ton of Batman: Arkham City goodies, eh? Here's the latest: daughter of Batman arch nemesis Ra's al Ghul and sometimes Dark Knight love interest Talia al Ghul will appear in the upcoming game.
There's a Hollywood connection here, too. Talia will be voiced by actress Stana Katic, best known for her work as Detective Kate Beckett on Castle.

Bane to be a playable character in Batman: Arkham City
After their somewhat (read: hugely) successful attempt at a Batman game with Arkham Asylum, developer Rocksteady hasn't shied away from taking full advantage of the Batman license. Arkham City is jam-packed with a bevy of the Caped Crusader's allies and adversaries.
Both Talia Al Ghul and The Penguin were announced earlier this month and, via the Arkham City Comic-Con panel, we know that Bane will join the cast of characters available to fight at the Dark Knight's side.
It's interesting to see Bane on this side of the story. It's not an altogether new event -- Bane was always conflicted character -- but it's an interesting angle to take on the villain.
They've also released a handful of new screens showing the aforementioned 'ally' as well as Catwoman, and the Batman himself. You can find the full panel here for some interesting talk amongst the cast.- Bane can now team up with Batman for a series of sub-missions that involve tracking down shipments of chemical contraband.
- new gadget editions, including the Remote Electrical Charge (REC)
- this is a shotgun variant that shoots an instant spark to knock enemies back, or electrocute armor-wearing baddies
- enemies with machine guns will have their clips emptied into the crowd when shot with the REC
- The gun can also charge up some machines and help transform metal scraps into magnets
- 4 hours worth of Catwoman gameplay
- main path storyline in Arkham City is bigger than Arkham Asylum
- fail a side-quest and still return to it later, once you've gained better items/weapons

European Store Reveals Animated Series And Batman Beyond Skins For Arkham City
Gamestop and Best Buy aren’t the only stores offering pre-order DLC for Batman: Arkham City. European store, Mighty Ape, are offering a very interesting DLC bonus, too: three additional skins for Batman from Batman Beyond, the upcoming Earth One graphic novel and Batman: The Animated Series, discovered by an Arkham City forum user.
So far, no other store has announced these skins as a pre-order bonus, but traditionally, pre-order DLC of this sort tends to eventually be released as paid downloadable content.
Note: If you click over to Mighty Ape, note that the prices mentioned there are in New Zealand dollars, not American dollars.
