My only guess is that the holder was supposed to throw to the kicker he sent in motion because he was looking right back at him near the sideline waiting for the ball.

However, it seems the Redskins forgot that they left no one to block for the poor bastard that got lit up.

i fully expected todd yoder to be able to handle the blocking on that play, it was a fluke that the skins didnt pull it off

I just watched that play again to make sure I wasn't seeing things, but NO ONE blocked on that play for the holder. Both players around the holder, including the deep snapper ran passing routes.
