I remember when Jim Johnson died it took ESPN over an hour to even give it a mention after the story initially broke, which pissed me off mightily. I think they spent the whole time in between sucking Favre's dick about whether he was coming out of retirement or some bullshit like that. Fuck ESPN and thank God for NFL and MLB Networks.

ESPN released a statement last year saying they won't comment on any deaths until they are 100% confirmed (Time of Death is stamped). They screwed up bigtime in the past, like several other stations, especially when people thought Terry Bradshaw had died and was just at home sippin on some drank watching TV.
