Yes, I know, hence why I wondered why they allowed you to select both PS3 and Windows version on the beta application.

Also, that says the current recruitment is PC version only, that doesn't show that there wasn't a PS3 option on the application form.

Btw, just created a dummy account because I remembered a similar question. the question your remembering is

On which gaming platform(s) do you intend to participate in this test phase? *

the application says, tell us your PC information "if applicable" and allows you to only select PS3 in the application. which goes against the first page. Seems like they arent going to update the application when they decide to allow a PS3 beta, but the front page still denies they are recruiting NA PS3 users at this time.

Wonder how much space it will take up on the PS3 harddrive, 'cause my PS3's quite old and only have like 8 GB I think, and I'd much rather play it on PS3 rather than PC, as I don't think I can afford to upgrade my computer at the moment high enough to get it to run the game with awesome graphics.

You can buy any 2.5" SATA hard drive and swap it into your PS3. You can get a 320GB drive for around $75.

I selected PC and PS3 too. Mostly because I doubt my laptop will run it, so I figured maybe I'd get into the PS3 beta.

I put 95 on mine since I'm mostly worried about my computer needing upgrades and of coruse having to take a break from my meriting in XI.

Still no email though, hopefully I get invited to one of the beta phases.

It's a do-it-yourself job. There are detailed instructions on how to do it on the Playstation website found here. Make sure to also consult the section about the backup utility to get your data from your old drive to the new one.

Cant be to long considering they have a released planned for 2010. So I guess we will see.

Heh, awesome. Was considering up signing up multiple time's for a better chance at beta. Anyone know if they will be tracking and collecting IP's to see who signed up multiple times from the same location? Would hate to get disqualified.

Anybody submitting multiple apps will be disqualified for all them. Best bet would be to just play by the rules and submit one. I personally am too scared to even go on the beta site again for anything other than looking at the rules/faqs.
