And i still /laugh at people who thinks they will get in with 1 application your chances are so low unlike me, I'm getting in 100% and extra codes are going to EBAY.

I see nothing wrong with what I'm doing my intention is to get into the beta only, but why not use the extra codes when i get them? only a stupid person would throw free money away.

They haven't said if it will be digital distribution or physical distribution yet either. Jumping to the conclusion that it will be digital is counting chickens before they hatch.

They had to send FF11 beta CDs because back then online download speeds were slow

Even if you did get in, well done, you get to play an unfinished game. You'll have to go to the same areas, and do the same things, for however many hours a day, then go back tomorrow and do it all again.

This isn't giving you a chance to get ahead of everyone else and finish all the quests and missions, get all the gear, be rank number 1 across all servers, this is a BETA test, you'll be looking for bugs and trying to make the game crash and/or act in a manner it's not supposed to. Seriously, it isn't going to be fun, and any progress you do happen to make(lolLevel 5) is going to be wiped clean, potentially everyday, and especially when the BETA phase is finished.

I've not bothered with applying myself, I'd rather wait and play the game without having done certain requisites a thousand times already.

This. This and the fact the very small tests that last a few hours are happening first. So any time you have to feel special because you can log in and rubberband to death with evil malboros chain-casting bad breath on your char won't last long.


Then open beta will happen followed by release and everybody will still hate you for being a special kind of stupid during the early beta tests.
