PC specs for XI are probably higher than for XIV seeing as how it's the new thing to script shit on gaystations instead of making it a PC game and porting it from there! Game's going to run like shit within the year so you're going to need a monster of a computer to run it maxed out just like FFXI needed.

Yeah, FF went to shit at around that time, and maybe a little before then, no matter what anyone says. The game got boring as shit but no one wants to quit just yet because by the time FFXIV comes out, no one thinks anything can get done in another MMO. I guess that's what's keeping FFXI alive for now.
